This beautifully handcrafted felted wool purse or tote bag, created by the late Jackie Hansen, is a unique piece of art. Each one is hand-knitted, machine felted in hot water, and then carefully blocked into shape. After drying, water should be avoided as it can affect the integrity of the purse. It can be gently wiped with a damp cloth if necessary, but a lint roller is best for removing dust or stray threads.

• Purse Feet: To protect the base of the purse.
• Magnetic Snap Closures: Ensures security and ease of use.
• Lining: Fully lined with pre-washed cotton fabrics or silk.
• Reinforced Base: Includes a foam core base, strengthened with Plexiglas for added durability.

Care Instructions:

• Storage: Move the solid base sideways and lay the purse on its side for storage.
• Restoring Shape: When ready to use, return the base to its flat position and fluff the embellishments, including ribbons and eyelash yarns.
• Protection: The wool is moth-proofed, but storing the purse with a few mothballs in a small container or bag is recommended for extra protection.

Handle Options:

• Hand-carry bags feature either wooden or polyester handles.
• Newer designs include metal handles adorned with a variety of beads, with glass Pandora-style beads placed to avoid contact with hard surfaces. Beads can be replaced by opening the rings of the handles.
• Shoulder bags come with leather straps, and some feature stone beads that are virtually unbreakable.
